Visit the GECKO project at ITF in Leipzig
Over the past few months, the GECKO project has gathered more than 130 regulations on various forms of new mobility from around the world. (Many thanks to those of you who have given us tips and shared links to regulations; they’re not always easy to find so your help has been invaluable!). We’ve begun sorting and analysing the regulations and are looking for feedback from mobility stakeholders on these existing regulations as well as on future ones. What’s still missing in terms of regulations? Where are there inconsistencies? How can regulatory frameworks be harmonised? What are the barriers to getting there?
In order to gather some of this input, the GECKO project will be at the International Transport Forum in Leipzig on 27-29 May. If you’re at the ITF, please come by the GECKO stand in the exhibition hall, say hello and answer a few quick questions to share your views and insights on future regulatory needs for new mobility.
(As you’re aware, the coronavirus and its consequences are creating a great deal of uncertainty around major events and travel these days. If we’re unable to attend the ITF for any reason, we’ll be seeking stakeholder input in other forms and formats.)
