Managing changes that come with diversifying urban transport systems

GECKO project coordinator UITP issued two Policy Briefs to support cities and public transport authorities on the management of new mobility services and urban space.

UITP has recently shone a spotlight on new mobility, publishing two related Policy Briefs offering recommendations to cities and public transport authorities on how to sustainably manage the changes that come with these dynamic services.

The first one, New mobility services: Managing change and disruption,encourages the engagement of new mobility services with contextual regulations and coordinated action with PTAs.

Simultaneously, New mobility and urban space: How can cities adapt?, focuses on how urban streetscapes can evolve to ensure the efficiency of different modes of transport.
